Crapless Craps Strategy
In crapless craps a 7 still wins on the come-out, but nothing loses: the 2, 3, 11 and 12 become points like the 4 through 10. That changes the prices of some bets and leaves others exactly as they were. Here's every bet's payout and house edge, the bets crapless doesn't have, and a free crapless table where you can practice each strategy.

What changes in crapless
- The come-out: a 7 wins the Pass Line; every other total sets a point. There's no craps loss and no 11 win.
- Ten points instead of six: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.
- No Don't side: no Don't Pass and no Don't Come. Our crapless table also has no lay bets or Big 6 and 8.
- New place bets on the 2, 3, 11 and 12.

Every bet's payout and house edge
| Bet | Pays | House edge |
|---|---|---|
| Pass Line, Come | 1 to 1 | 5.38% |
| Odds on the 2 or 12 | 6 to 1 | 0% |
| Odds on the 3 or 11 | 3 to 1 | 0% |
| Odds on the 4 to 10 | 2 to 1, 3 to 2, 6 to 5 | 0% |
| Place 6 or 8 | 7 to 6 | 1.52% |
| Place 5 or 9 | 7 to 5 | 4.00% |
| Place 4 or 10 | 9 to 5 | 6.67% |
| Place 3 or 11 | 11 to 4 | 6.25% |
| Place 2 or 12 | 11 to 2 | 7.14% |
| Field (ours) | 1 to 1, 2 to 1 on 2 and 12 | 5.56% |
The place bets and the Field pay the same as at a regular table. What moves is the line: the Pass Line keeps 1.41% in regular craps and 5.38% in crapless, because the 11 no longer wins and the 2, 3 and 12 become points. How we check the odds.
Odds limits on the new points
On our crapless table the odds are 1x on the 2 and 12, 2x on the 3 and 11, and the usual 3-4-5x on the 4 through 10. Casino tables and machines set their own limits, so check the layout or paytable.
How crapless players adjust
- Taking the odds behind every Pass and Come bet, since the odds keep nothing.
- Placing numbers without a line bet, for example the 6 and 8 alone, since the place bets keep the same edges as in regular craps and the line's edge is higher.
- Choosing which numbers to place: the ALL button on our table places every number from 2 to 12; INSIDE and ACROSS place the usual groups.
