Crapless Craps
Crapless craps is craps where nothing loses on the first roll. A 7 still wins, and every other number, even 2, 3, 11 and 12, becomes the point. Play it free on our Bubble Craps machine.

- The come-out roll. Bet the Pass Line and roll. A 7 wins straight away. Anything else is your point.
- Chase the point. Roll your point again before a 7 and you win. Roll a 7 first and you lose.
- Take the odds. Once there's a point, back it with free odds. They pay true odds and cost nothing.
That's all that changes. In regular craps, 11 also wins on the come-out and 2, 3 and 12 lose ("craps"). In crapless craps there's no craps to lose to, which is where the name comes from.

Why the house keeps more
It feels like a better deal: you can't lose on the first roll. But you give up the sure win on 11, and the new points are hard to make. A 2 or 12 comes again before a 7 only 1 time in 7, and a 3 or 11 only 1 time in 4. Add it up and the Pass Line keeps about $5.38 of every $100, nearly four times the $1.41 of regular craps.

On our machine, odds go up to 1× your line bet on the 2 and 12, 2× on the 3 and 11, 3× on the 4 and 10, 4× on the 5 and 9, and 5× on the 6 and 8.
How to play it well
- Always take the full odds. With maximum odds behind the Pass Line, the house keeps about 1.3% of all the money you bet, instead of 5.38% on the line alone.
- Place the 6 and 8 if you want more action. At 1.52%, they're the cheapest bets after the odds.
- Go easy on the 2, 3, 11 and 12. They pay big but are the hardest numbers to hit.
- If you want the lowest house edge, play regular craps. With full odds its Pass Line keeps under 0.4%.
So why play crapless? Every come-out roll is a winner or a new point, and big points like 2 and 12 pay 6 to 1 on the odds. It's more swing for a higher price.
Where it's played
Crapless craps, sometimes called Never Ever Craps, was first dealt at Bob Stupak's Vegas World in Las Vegas. Today it turns up at some casino tables and on many bubble craps machines, where the dice tumble inside a dome and each player bets from their own screen. Is crapless craps better for the player?
No. You can't lose on the come-out, but the Pass Line keeps 5.38% instead of 1.41%.
Can I bet Don't Pass?
No. Crapless craps has no "wrong side": the Don't Pass and Don't Come bets aren't offered, at casino tables or on our machine.
Do the odds still have no house edge?
Yes. The odds pay exactly what the chances are, on every point, including the new ones.
How do I switch on your machine?
