How to play Bubble Craps

Free Bubble Craps Online

Play Bubble Craps free in your browser: the electronic craps machine where the dice tumble inside a clear dome. Regular or crapless, with a Learn mode that explains every bet. No download, no sign-up, and $1,500 in play money to start.

What is Bubble Craps?

Bubble Craps is craps played on a machine instead of a live table. The dice sit under a sealed glass bubble, a burst of air sends them tumbling, and every player bets from their own screen. There's no shooter and no dealer, so the game moves at your pace and the minimum bets are low. The bets are the same as table craps.

How to play

  1. Bet the Pass Line. Tap PASS LINE with a chip picked. It's the simplest bet and one of the cheapest.
  2. Roll. On the first roll (the come-out), a 7 wins. In crapless craps, where the table starts, every other number becomes the point and the puck flips to ON. In regular craps an 11 also wins, a 2, 3 or 12 loses, and the rest become the point.
  3. Chase the point. Keep rolling. Roll the point again before a 7 and the Pass Line wins. Roll a 7 first and it loses.
  4. Take the odds. Once there's a point, tap your Pass Line chip to add free odds. It's the only bet with no house edge.

You can also drag a chip from the rack onto any bet. To move a bet, drag its chip to another spot. To take it down, drag it off the table or flick it away. Tap a chip on the table to add to it. On a phone you can also give it a firm shake instead of tapping ROLL (Shake to roll in the menu turns that off).

Turn on Learn (the ? button at the top right) and the table explains each bet before you place it.

Regular or crapless

The table starts on crapless. Switch between them with the Craps and Crapless buttons above the table. In crapless craps, nothing loses on the come-out: a 7 still wins, but the 2, 3, 11 and 12 become points too. That sounds better for you, but it isn't. You give up the sure win on 11, and the extra points are hard to make, so the Pass Line keeps about 5.4% instead of 1.4%. More on the crapless craps page.

Odds go up to 3, 4 and 5 times your line bet (3× on 4 and 10, 4× on 5 and 9, 5× on 6 and 8). Come and Don't Come work like Pass and Don't Pass, started on any roll. The one-roll bets (horn, hops, any craps) and the bonus bets (Fire, and All, Tall and Small) keep far more: 11% to 21%. Bets run $5 to $5,000, and one-roll bets $1 to $100. As on the machine, the bonus bets go down before the first roll after a 7, and once the dice roll they stay up until they win or a 7 ends them.

Grouped bets

The row of buttons above the chips places the bets players call out at a table in one tap: Inside (5, 6, 8, 9), Outside (4, 5, 9, 10), Across (every place number), Odds, and Press to add a chip to each of your bets on the numbers. More has hops, lay bets and the rest. Each button shows what it costs before you tap.

Is it fair?

Yes. Every roll is random, and each bet pays exactly what the table shows. We checked every bet against ten million simulated rolls and the exact math, and the house keeps only what the real rules give it. How we check the odds.

Questions

What's the difference between craps and crapless craps?

Only the first roll. In regular craps, a 7 or 11 wins straight away and a 2, 3 or 12 ("craps") loses. In crapless craps a 7 still wins, but nothing loses: the 2, 3, 11 and 12 become points like any other number. It sounds like the better deal, but you give up the sure win on 11 and those points are hard to make, so the Pass Line keeps about 5.4% instead of 1.4%. Crapless has no Don't Pass. Switching between them keeps your money. More on the crapless craps page.

Is it really free?

Yes. It's play money only, with no real wagering, no sign-up and no download.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It's built for a phone held upright first, turns sideways for a wider table, and plays on a computer too.

What if I run out of chips?

You can reset your wallet to $1,500 from the table's Actions menu. Your chips are shared with the other games and kept in this browser.
