Free Roulette Online
Las Vegas American roulette, built for a phone held upright: the double-zero wheel with 0 and 00, every bet on the layout, the real payouts and nothing rigged. You play from a $1,500 play-money wallet shared with our other games. No download, no sign-up.
How to play roulette
- Pick a chip from the rack: $1, $5, $25 or $100.
- Put it on the layout. Tap the middle of a number to bet it on its own. Tap the line between two numbers for a split, or the point where four meet for a corner. While your finger is down, a bubble shows exactly which numbers your chip will cover and what it pays; slide to adjust, lift to put it down.
- Tap Spin. The ball runs round the wheel, drops and settles. Tap again to hurry it along: where it lands was decided the moment you tapped Spin.
- Get paid. The marker goes on the winning number, winning bets are paid, and the rest are taken. Rebet puts the same bets down again, and ร2 doubles them.
The bets and what they pay
| Bet | Pays |
|---|---|
| Straight up One number, 0 or 00 | 35 to 1 |
| Split Two numbers side by side | 17 to 1 |
| Street A row of three | 11 to 1 |
| Trio 0-1-2, 0-00-2 or 00-2-3 | 11 to 1 |
| Corner Four numbers in a square | 8 to 1 |
| Top line 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3 | 6 to 1 |
| Six line Two rows, six numbers | 5 to 1 |
| Column A column of twelve | 2 to 1 |
| Dozen 1โ12, 13โ24 or 25โ36 | 2 to 1 |
| Even money Red, black, odd, even, 1โ18 or 19โ36 | 1 to 1 |
"35 to 1" means a $5 bet wins $175 and you keep your $5. The outside bets (columns, dozens and the even-money bets) all lose when the ball lands on 0 or 00.
The house edge
There are 38 pockets but the payouts are what a wheel with only 36 would pay, so the two zeros are the house's whole edge: 5.26% on every bet (you get back $94.74 for every $100 bet, on average). The one exception is the top line, 0-00-1-2-3, at 7.89%: it's the worst bet on the table. No betting system changes these numbers.
House rules at this table
| Wheel | American double zero: 0, 00 and 1โ36, the Las Vegas way |
|---|---|
| Zero | Every outside bet loses on 0 and 00 (no half back) |
| Chips | $1, $5, $25 and $100 |
| Minimums | $5 across your inside bets together, and $5 on each outside bet |
| Maximum | $500 on any one spot |
Is it rigged?
No. When you tap Spin, your browser's built-in secure random numbers pick one of the 38 pockets, each exactly 1 in 38, without looking at your bets. The wheel then shows the ball landing there. Nothing remembers past spins or evens them out. We checked it over ten million spins: every pocket came up as often as it should, and every bet paid back exactly what the math says. How we check the odds.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. It's play money only, with no real wagering, no sign-up and no download.
Do the last numbers tell me what comes next?
No. The strip at the top shows the last twelve numbers, like the board at a real table, but every spin is a fresh 1 in 38. A number that hasn't come up for a while isn't "due". Streaks happen: red comes up ten times in a row about once in 1,760 runs of ten.
Why American roulette and not European?
It's the wheel you'll find in Las Vegas. The European wheel has a single zero and a smaller edge (2.70%), but it's rare on the Strip.
What if I run out of chips?
Start over with a fresh $1,500 from the menu, or from the card that comes up when your wallet is empty.
